SAP Regional ESG Lead - SAP Global Real Estate and Facilities (GRF) (f/m/d) in Walldorf, Germany

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

As the Regional ESG Lead, you'll ensure our commitment to sustainability is embedded at the regional level, adapting our ESG strategies to regional requirements. This strategic role focuses on the initiation, management and control of regional/local ESG projects, risk assessment and leveraging regional ESG opportunities.

  • Adapt global governance and compliance frameworks to regional requirements.

  • Initiate and manage regional ESG projects, including vendor selection.

  • Guide regional execution to ensure compliance with ESG standards and targets.

  • Assess and respond to regional ESG risks and opportunities, providing strategic insights.

YOUR PROFILE

The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree, have a detailed understanding of ESG principles, and demonstrate leadership, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to translate global strategies into regional execution plans.

  • Degree in Environment Science, Business Admin, Real Estate, Finance or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Detailed knowledge of ESG principles and processes, preferably at a regional or global level.

  • Proven ability to translate global strategy into regional execution plans.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • At least 5 years' experience in an ESG-focused role, with preference for regional or global experience.
