+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Job Description: | | | | The nurse assigned to the PMG will demonstrate the knowledge and | | skills necessary to provide safe, timely, effective, quality, age | | appropriate, culture appropriate, cost conscious, evidenced based | | care while utilizing the nursing process and holistic patient care. | | This includes, but is not limited to, obtaining patient vitals, | | charting, assessments, ordering tests, administering medications, | | drawing blood, EKG's, giving vaccinations, educating patients and | | calling in prescriptions. The LPN utilizes the nursing process to | | provide nursing care on an individualized basis according to | | organizational policies and procedures. As nurses we will provide | | clinical leadership for patient care.
