The Charge Processing Specialist is responsible for processing charges, attaching modifiers to CPT procedure codes, interacting with CBO personnel to provide information and to assist in the resolution of billing or insurance issues and/or any patient concerns regarding any billing issues. Also, may be responsible for performing other administrative tasks as assigned as well as assisting other areas of the Revenue Cycle.
