JOB SUMMARY:

Take part in the Ohio Ag Equipment college program at the University of Northwestern Ohio and work as a student intern at the Millersburg location throughout the college program. The program is developed to educate students to become top-performing service technicians. The program consists of completion of an associate degree in Agriculture Equipment Technology at UNOH under a sponsorship of Ohio Ag Equipment.College – Students will go through a specialized curriculum at UNOH, maintain a favorable grade point, and graduate successfully. Ensure all classes are passed successfully and conduct oneself professionally as a representative of Ohio Ag Equipment on campus. Students will learn and understand all aspects of agriculture equipment including:

  • Repair and rebuild of complex machinery components.

  • The ability to work with electronic diagnostic equipment.

  • Operational skills of computer bases technician reference manuals.

    Starting pay $20.00 per hour also including tuition reimbursement, up to $875 per session will be paid to the student at the end of each session based on student’s GPA scale below:

    3.50 – 4.00 GPA = $1,515.00

    3.20 – 3.49 GPA = $1,363.50

    3.00 – 3.19 GPA = $1,212.00

    2.80 – 2.99 GPA = $1,060.50

    2.50 – 2.79 GPA = $909.00

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Basic diesel knowledge and experience

  • Strong capacity for learning

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Team and career-oriented

  • Actively enrolled in an agriculture degree program is preferred

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pull

  • Standing/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines

  • Dexterity Normal

  • Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
