BETTER TOGETHER 1.0 FTE/40 hours per week This position will provide one-on-one cognitive-behavioral and behavioral therapy to school age children and teens with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Program Assistants work one-on-one to help children and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their homes and/or community settings. The Program Assistant receives a minimum of 40 hours of training to use skill building strategies and techniques to target treatment goals, as well as ongoing training and supervision. The Program Assistant works under the direct guidance of a clinical supervisor, to collect data, make observations, implement treatment plans, and carry out therapy using practices rooted in a cognitive-behavioral and behavioral framework. Treatment benefits and progress toward goals will be monitored and reviewed regularly, utilizing measurement tools. The Program Assistant will be part of the in-home Autism Treatment Program and provide both virtual and in-home treatment per department protocols. They will complete documentation in the electronic medical record in a timely manner per department and organization protocols, and chart in a manner that is patient-oriented and professional. The Program Assistant will actively participate in case consultations with their behavior teams and be an active participant in department meetings.
