Robert Half Fund Accountant Intermediate (3-6 years) in Boston, Massachusetts

Description

We are seeking a skillful and experienced Operational Readiness Project Manager to join our financial services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving forward various projects, ensuring they are completed in the timely manner, within budget, and up to the company's quality standards. He/she will also work on preparing our business operations to carry out these projects effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans within the financial services department, focusing on operational readiness.

  • Directly manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.

  • Develop a detailed project schedule and work plan commensurate with operational readiness expectations.

  • Prepare project estimates and manage budget expenses effectively.

  • Collaborate across various teams to align on changes and manage dependencies, ensuring readiness to deliver on project outcomes.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders for necessary resources and materials.

  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to manage issues related to operational readiness.

  • Guarantee that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and budget.

  • Prepare project reports for management and stakeholders while ensuring that all project documentation is current and complete.

  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and facilitate communications as it relates to operational readiness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or relevant fields.

  • Proven project management experience, preferably in the financial services sector.

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) is preferred.

  • Excellent understanding of operational readiness in the financial services context.

  • An ability to drive projects to completion and deliver effective results.

  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Deep knowledge of financial services operations, practices, and industry regulations.
