Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm

Pay rate: $40-$50, Hourly

Location: Boise, ID

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Manage and ensure the accuracy and security of all project documentation. 

  • Coordinate with project teams to collect, maintain, and distribute all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that ensure compliance with customer requirements. 

  • Develop and implement document control policies and procedures.

  • Manage the process of distributing contract documents to subcontractors and maintain the document flow to and from construction sites.

  • Ensure all documentation is managed in accordance with defined procedures and other regulatory standards.

  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Review and update technical documents (e.g., submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, issue logs, drawings, and workflows).

  • Distribute project-related copies to internal teams.

  • File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.

  • Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients.

  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization.

  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement.

  • Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.

  • Mentor and manage the performance of assigned team members to ensure highly trained and functional team.

Requirements:

  • BS in Business Administration, Engineering, and Construction Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years of construction or relative project management experience.

  • Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role in a large commercial or industrial construction project environment.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).•   Experience in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).

  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Knowledge of engineering / construction / design documents; and other relevant construction documentation such as Request for Information (RFI), submittals, and issues logs.
